SIEPMANN-WERKE exhibits at Hellweg Training Fair

Warstein, 11/07/2016 SIEPMANN-WERKE was amongst the exhibitors at the Hellweg Training Fair once again this year. At the event, we told the young people in attendance all about the technical vocational training opportunities we offer, adopting a personal and practical approach. Current SIEPMANN-WERKE trainees were on hand as the main sources of information for pupils interested in joining us.

Anerkannter Ausbildungsbetrieb LOGO 2016_200x_19861.jpgMarkus Gauseweg and Oliver Appelhoff (both in the third year of training to become industrial mechanics) and Valerij Greb (in the second year of training to become a cutting machine mechanic) used models to show the youngsters how components and test pieces are constructed. Pupils were even given the chance to put their own technical skills to the test and to pick up some useful information on how the training at SIEPMANN-WERKE works and what it entails.

Although many of the questions asked by the potential future trainees related to study opportunities, a lot of interest was also expressed in the advantages of completing a technical or business training programme. The event also introduced lots of people to the option of gaining extensive practical knowledge through training to start with, before going on to build on this by studying. Training Officers Clemens Becker and Kerstin Schöne-Bolinger from HR were on hand at the event to answer questions and offer hints and tips on this and related topics.

All in all, this year's Hellweg Training Fair was a roaring success.
